Berlin Sightseeing - Most viewing sights are in and around central Mitte. The western end is marked by the iconic Brandenburg Gate. South of Unter den Linden is Gendarmenmarkt, one of Berlin’s most beautiful squares. At the eastern end of Unter den Linden is Museum Island, a World Heritage Site. North of Alexanderplatz is packed with galleries, bars and shops. Prenzlauer Berg is a relaxed area for a meal or a drink. Muhlenstrasse and Simon-Dach-Strasse offers lively and youthful night life. Kreuzberg area has fascinating museums. Nearby is Schöneberg offering some great bars, and is the hub of Berlin’s thriving gay district.

Berlin Nightlife - The Berlin night offers everything from grungy dives to ultra-chic discos. The Sage-Club is a complex with an assortment of club nights. Kaffee Burger hosts a varied programs of live music. The bars of Motzstrasse and Fuggerstrasse in Schöneberg, Oranienstrasse in Kreuzberg, and Schönhauser Allee in Prenzlauer Berg make good starting points for gays I Berlin. Berlin shopping - There are numerous places in Berlin for shopping sprees. The city offers clothing from luxury designer brands to cheap. The Potsdamer Platz Arcades offer more than 100 stores in which you can find everything from clothing and accessories to electronic devices and food. Quartier 205, Quartier 206 and Quartier 207 in Friedrichstresse offer luxury quality products of international designers. Tauentzienstrasse which is the extension of Kurfuerstendamm is a shopping mall for the whole family. You can find diversity in styles and fashion as well as in price categories. Hackescher Markt is an interesting shopping address for anybody searching for anything that is not mainstream. Charlottenburg: Savignyplatz is ideal for browsing shops selling shoes, accessories, jewellery, books, souvenirs and clothing and is surrounded by fantastic restaurants and a large variety of bars.
